The client below came in to see Alice Huang. She suffered from severe psoriasis on her neck, legs, and arms. Below are photos from before and after being treated with acupuncture.
What is Psoriasis?
Psoriasis is a common skin condition that speeds up the life cycle of skin cells. This skin disorder causes the skin cells to build up quickly on the surface of the skin. The result is scales and red patches that are itchy and often painful. Psoriasis can grow anywhere. It most often appears on the scalp, elbows, knees, and lower back. Recently, a client came to Alice Huang’s client suffering from severe psoriasis on her body particularly on her neck, legs, and arms.
What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture stimulates specific points on the body. This ancient Chinese medicinal practice uses specific points on the body to alleviate pain. In addition, it can help various health conditions. The process uses either thin needles (acupuncture) or using pressure points (acupressure). The acupuncture points are nerve points on the body that give access to the system of energetic meridians. The stimulation of the meridians increases the production of the body’s own endorphins and, at the same time, activates the immune and endocrine systems.
Alice Huang uses fine high-grade surgical steel needles, which are used only once. The needles may remain from 10 minutes to one hour, depending on the desired effect. Several of our clients can testify that acupuncture is the solution to their pain and discomfort.
A key philosophy in Traditional Chinese Medicine is that one organ can affect another, and what affects one organ can affect the whole body. This also applies to skin disorders like eczema, acne, psoriasis, alopecia. Acupuncture is an alternative treatment for those who prefer a non- invasive and non-chemical treatment.

The lymphatic system has multiple functions for our bodies which includes absorbing and transporting fatty acids and fats as chyle from the digestive system. It also transports white blood cells to and from the lymph nodes into the bones. Proper lymphatic drainage allows the body to flush out virus, bacteria and fungus that feed on the protein wastes and rid itself of food additives and chemicals that attach to the protein waste.
Most chronic disease problems occur at the junction of lymph vessels called ‘lymph nodes’. One can feel lymph nodes by touching under the arms just below the collarbone or in the crease between the thigh and pelvic area. When touching these areas, many people will feel small bumps and sometimes pain. The bumps and pain are symptomatic of congested or blocked lymph nodes. Congested or blocked lymph nodes lymph nodes cold indicate a breakdown your lymphatic system
When your lymph nodes are congested, people will often feel fatigued, exhausted, chronic joint pain, or have intestinal problems. Western medicine is unusually focuses on the chemical make up of our blood, commonly misinterpreting readings such as cholesterol, proteins, enzyme and vitamin levels. In order to understand these readings you have to have to look at why and how they got there. Most importantly you must know that in order to regulate these molecules. Lymphatic system should be fortified and stimulated because it is the transport mechanism for many of these molecules.
How to Drain Your Lymph Nodes
One way to fortify and stimulate your lymph nodes draining off the excess fluid. Lymphatic Beam Generator (LBG) therapy offers a quick, safe and natural method of eliminating the excess lymphatic fluid build up. The therapy promotes healthy lymphatic drainage that detoxes the body and remove toxins using cold gas light photons. These cold gas light photos essentially unclogs your lymph nodes followed by removal excess fluids and transport fats from the body naturally. The pneumatic lymphatic compression massage aids the body in migrating fluids through the lymph system, unclogging pathways, migrating waste products, and eliminating stress effectively lowering acidic stress hormones (cortisol).
